Our 2009 Schedule is now released! Enjoy!

In Kissimee, Florida, Bad News made two final round racing appearances, narrowly being defeated both times. They suffered a dreaded blown engine towards the end of night two and had it put back together in time for the Texas Monster Shootout the following weekend, where they made the semi-finals. A photo courtesy of Cory Schwab is above! Bruce and Jami are heading into their 11th year in the business and are working on putting the finishing touches on the new hauler for the upcoming season. Additionally, a schedule for first quarter of 2009 will be made available shortly! Thanks for visiting!

Check out our photos of the new hauler below. We will have more information on how the team has been doing soon:

Bruce and Jami had a solid show in Batesville, Arkansas (check The Monster Blog for more information and photos!), then did quite well in Toccoa, Georgia this past weekend, winning the racing portion of the show, then following up with a second place to Lionel Easler's Instigator in freestyle. We have updated our Sponsors page, and also have our hauler for sale, as we have purchased an updated one. If interested, it is available for a reasonable price at Monster Truck Trading Center. We hope to have more photos and videos soon; if you have a submission for the site, check out the contact page!

Bad News had a rough weekend in Jacksonville for the AMP show; doing rear end damage that included an axle breaking during a donut.
"We hooked up too good on the dirt, and that stopped the truck right away pretty good," said Jami.

The team is all fixed up and ready for the rest of the shows to close out the year. More information and pictures are on the way!

Team Bad News has been rolling along quite well recently, including a sweep of the recent event in Jackson, Michigan. Photos can be seen at this link: THE MONSTER BLOG. More updates are to come!

--Welcome to the new BadNewsRacing.com! Dustin Hart has given us another great design to work with, and we are excited for the rest of summer! The team made the trip to Rushville, Illinois on July 4 weekend and came away with the victory, then a quick display in Michigan for a dealership that netted Bruce tickets to his favorite band-REO Speedwagon! From there, the success continued in Erie, Pennsyvlania, where Bruce lost a close final-round race to Grave Digger. A penalty in racing on night two hurt them, but Bruce had strong freestyles all weekend.

"His freestyles and wheelie contests are getting stronger as we go, so I know his confidence is picking up," said Jami.
