After a whirlwind few weeks (see below) the team is finally home for a bit of rest and relaxation before beginning their summer schedule, which is now available in the Schedule section!
"It was definitely busy and we had an interesting weekend of engine issues in Lafayette, but we got through it and ended up pretty well," said Jami. Enjoy the schedule, and we are seeking photos out to keep you posted!

Greenville, South Carolina treated the Haneys well. Bruce scored a 22 in freestyle on Friday, followed by an appearance in the racing finals and a 24 on Saturday.
"The season has been good to us so far," said Jami. "We are still working on the hauler in between shows, and it will be a nice place once it's finished. Bruce has been doing well, and we are at Gary Porter's shop right now."

Catching up on the first three shows of 2009, we're happy to report that all is going well with Bad News. In Rochester, Bruce had solid outings, going deep into the racing brackets and nearly pulling off a wheelie contest victory. Photos from the event are online courtesy of Kyle Carr. Birmingham brought more success, with Bruce taking the racing victories Saturday afternoon and evening, with solid freestyle performances as well. David Kranak's photos from the show are online as well. Mississippi brought a freestyle victory on Friday, and second place racing finish. Saturday Bruce took the racing victory, and headed to the finals Sunday before converter issues took over. "We've been doing great, and if we can get the transmission squared away and holding up, it will be fine," said Bruce. Bruce and Jami head to the first show of the season in Rochester, New York this weekend, and we will have the photos and updates as soon as possible, along with a short recap of what's been going on in December!

Bruce and Jami have been working hard finishing their new hauler in time for the holidays and first quarter. We will have photos of the development of their "home away from home" once it is fully complete.
"We did the Toys for Tots deal again and it was great; other than that it's just been hard work on the hauler and living quarters," said Jami.
